Don't Be Discouraged

Posted on June 18, 2017 at 12:00 AM

I want to encourage all those who are reading this. It is not easy to walk the Satanic path. Many people will do what they can to get in your way and circumstances will come along that will make you stumble.

For the past few months, I have seen so much nonsense on social media. I used to participate a lot online, in groups and such, but I have stepped away as it is quite disheartening to see what goes on. Perhaps I might increase my participation in time, but for now, I must focus on my individual projects.

What truly disgusts me, is how those who call themselves atheistic Satanists try to belittle the theistic Satanists for their belief in Satan. They put us down for praying, worship, and our devotion to Satan. They tell us what not to believe as if they know the ultimate truth. They say that Satanism is just a philosophy and was started by Anton LaVey. No, it wasn’t. The word Satanism existed way before LaVey was even born, and it has always meant the worship of Satan. The truth is out there…

The internet is a great thing, yet for new Satanists, it can be overwhelming at times. There are so many social media groups and they all have different ideas and beliefs. Many people will tell you what is right and what is wrong and it can be confusing. Everyone has their own way of practicing and some might try to force their ways on you, and as soon as you express your opinion, they will pounce. This is one of the reasons why it is so important to do your own research and to study hard. Don’t let anyone tell you what to believe, no matter how intelligent they may seem.

Be strong, and don’t lose sight of your path or most importantly, your relationship with Satan. Always go to him first with your questions and be patient for his answer.

Devotee, Satan is with you.

Satanic Blessings,

Marie RavenSoul

Great post and best of all "Always go to him first with your questions and be patient for his answer." Some times you loose site of that and need to be led back.

This is just what I needed to read. You're absolutely right about the new aesthetic satanists who try and put others down for believing more than just the thought of the Dark Lord. I feel so lost sometimes because when I share my thoughts and my practices people turn away from me. But I know that here there are people like you who understand that this isn't for the aesthetic... its a way of life. Satanic Blessings to you and thank you so much for posting this!

I do not understand the atheistic side at all. It seems very strange construct indeed. Satanism without Satan? It makes no sense. You are a calm and thoughtful guide. Thank you!

This has happened to me a lot Marie.. I have gotten discouraged and things, and at times I have lost my steam, but this is motivating though. I don't feel like using social media as my platform for learning anymore, and I definitely should start being more careful on who I listen to and take advice from. Thanks for the article

One thing I need to add to my comment that I just now thought about is, I should get to know myself more, so that I can be careful how I tread down this path and see what truly works for me, this is my weakness at the moment, and those people you mentioned, they do also tend to prey on that weakness as well as the other stuff you mentioned
