Seeking Spiritual Help

Posted on March 4, 2020 at 11:50 PM

There are times when we struggle with certain aspects of our lives, be it spiritual, physical, emotional, financial, or social. Sometimes we need a listening ear to vent, or we might need advice about what we are going through.

If a non-Satanist is struggling spiritually, they can go to the leader of their place of worship such as their priest, rabbi, or guru. For the Satanist, it is not that easy. We can’t just walk up the street to our local Satanic temple because they don’t exist. It is difficult to find another Satanist in one’s location, never mind a Satanic clergy member. And what makes a person clergy? A topic for another post, indeed.

So, Satanists turn to the internet for help. One can join tons of social media groups where many people offer their advice. But who should you trust? Anyone can say that they have the required knowledge to help you. Many give themselves titles like priest, high priest, or magus. It is obvious to most that they’re not, but for some, it is harder to see through the charade.

What to do if you are a Satanist looking to talk to someone for spiritual advice:

- Ask a Theistic Satanist.

-You want to go to someone who has at least a few years of experience in Satanism. This person views Satanism as a serious religion and way of life. They are devoted to Satan and know his teachings, and they have great respect for the Demons.

-If you need to talk about your mental health and/or medication, you need someone who will be understanding and who has some knowledge in these areas.

- You want someone who will encourage you on your path.

- Before deciding on someone, check them out to see if they have a good reputation. If you know anyone who has gone to them for help, ask their opinion. You want someone who will keep your confidence and tell you the truth.

-If the person has a website, book, or blog, read them to see if their beliefs line up with yours.

-You want someone honest about their struggles on the path and who will share what worked for them during the hard times.

What not to do when seeking advice:

-Don’t go to someone who gossips about others. If they gossip about one person, more than likely they will gossip about you as well. The last thing you need is for your business to be aired out on social media for all to see.

- Beware of those who say they are demonologists or exorcists. The titles may sound fancy but more than likely they do not have a favourable view of Satan or the Demons. Their knowledge does not come from Satanic texts.

- You want to stay clear of ‘white lighters’ and new agers. They will tell you that your beliefs are evil and will promote seeking assistance from angels, which is something that a Satanist should not do.

- Another group of people you want to avoid like the plague, and who might try to get into your business are Christians, especially those involved in the ‘deliverance’ ministry. They believe that they can cast out Demons through prayer and fasting. Their only goal is to convert others to Christianity.

- Be careful of those who are just looking to make some cash. You might want to think twice about sharing the personal details of your life with someone who charges money for a Facebook chat.

If you are struggling spiritually, you may feel that some help is better than no help at all. It might be tempting to turn to people who are not Theistic Satanists if they are the only ones in your sphere offering to help. My advice is to wait until you can find a Theistic Satanist that you can trust. You don’t need discouragement or confusion.

I am here to talk if you need advice or a listening ear. Message me, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Satanic Blessings,

Marie RavenSoul

And this, my dear, is why I am here. I have seen too many who proclaim to know or understand, and absolutely do not. Many are atheist who claim to be Satanists, with all the bells and whistles galore! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this, I'm sure there will be many who are also looking for the truth and have grown weary of deceit. Darkest blessings.

Also a reason I came here. Feels like they only safe place to talk like a Satanist particularly a theistic one. Marie Ravensoul I thank you for your guidance. It would be nice to share in ritual with other satanists but being a Satanist is a very individual path the left hand path is lonely one actually. At least as far as I can tell so far. I just makes space for Satan in my life and he just manifests it's really an awesome deal.
