Using Your Talents for Satan

Walk into your local bookstore and you will see that the religion section is filled predominantly with Christian books. The top shelf is usually crammed with Bibles of many translations, and the descending shelves contain mostly Christian self-help books. The rest of the space is mostly filled with books on Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam.

The section right beside it is usually labelled 'New Age,' and the books are mostly about Wicca, psychic development, and angel communication. I have not seen anything that would be of much use to the Satanist.

On top of this, Christians have their own bookstores that are filled with books written by Christians who write in order to spread the message of their god. They also have their own record labels and tons of musicians of all genres who sing the praises of Jesus.

Muslims have Islamic centres and distribute their literature on street corners, and most of the major world religions have places of worship in every major city.

What does the Satanist have?

Since the early 1980's, we have had black metal, but most of the bands just use the Satanic imagery and are not real Satanists. I applaud those who are, yet for the Satanists who don't like black metal, there is not much to listen to if they want to hear music about Satan.

In regards to books, there is some non-fiction, but there isn't much geared towards Satanists, especially those who are theistic. And sadly, there is not much in the way of fiction that has anything to do with Satan, unless you count some horror and fantasy novels. Most are written with a bias, and Satan is portrayed in the stereotypical fashion- the evil one from the Abrahamic religions.

While everyone loves movies such as The Omen and Rosemary's Baby, it would be nice to see a movie where Satan and the Demons are portrayed as they truly are. And I would give anything, to walk into a bookstore and be able to choose a book where the main character is a Satanist or Demonolator.

So, where are the Satanic filmmakers? Where are the Satanic writers and artists? Where are the musicians who truly believe?

Just imagine walking into a bookstore filled with books for Satanists, or an art gallery with walls covered in Satanic art. But before we can have these things, we must first write the books and paint the pictures.

Satanist, if you have a talent, use it for Satan. Create for Him, as you consider the Satanists of the future. When you first felt drawn to Satan, what would you have liked to read, listen to, and watch? Think of those things, and set yourself into action.

Hail the Satanic Writers!

Hail the Satanic Musicians!

Hail the Satanic Artists!

Hail the Satanic Sculptors!

Hail the Satanic Craftsperson!

Hail the Satanic Speakers!

Hail the Satanic Filmmakers!

But above all... Hail SATAN!

Race in Satanism

Posted on July 13, 2016 at 9:20 PM Comments comments (2)

I want to make something very clear—Satan does not discriminate in regards to race.

Satan chooses who He chooses. He calls who He calls. His chosen ones may be Black, White, Indian, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, and so on. Satan considers a person's SOUL, not the colour of their skin or what country they were born in.

Some people might disagree with me on this. I don't care. Those who believe that Satan favours certain races while viewing others as inferior, I would ask them to consider the concept of reincarnation. This is the belief that after death a person's soul is reborn in another body. The journey might last for a couple of lifetimes or it may last for many. So it is safe to say, that a person most likely would have been born in a different country in at least a couple of their lifetimes.

Which means—a soul can have the experience of being many races. The race you are in this lifetime may not be the race you were in the last, and it most likely is not the race you will be in the future.

Al-Jilwah states:

“None shall live in this world longer than the time set by me; and if I so desire, I send a person a second or a third time into this world or into some other by the transmigration of souls.”

You don't know where Satan might choose to send you after you die, but it probably won't be the same place that you are now. His reasons are His reasons. He might want you to experience and learn new things, which is hard to do if you always live in the same place. He also might want you to make a difference for Him in another country. This could result in you being born of another race; perhaps, the very race you have always judged.

The colour of a person's skin doesn't make them who they are, and it should not be what defines them. What matters is their character, their choices, their achievements and creations, beliefs, actions, and so on. To say that Satan would reject a person based on how much pigment they have or don't have, is wrong and diminishes everything that He is.

To the racists out there, do you actually think that the Prince of Darkness, the Ancient Serpent, cares about skin colour? The body is only a temporary dwelling place for the soul, what it looks like doesn't matter in the great scheme of things.

I have gotten quite a few messages over the years, from people asking if race matters to Satan. My answer has always been the same—He looks at the soul.

Race is for a lifetime...the soul is eternal.

A Devotee of Satan

Posted on June 30, 2016 at 5:05 AM Comments comments (5)

What does it mean to be a devotee of Satan?

The image I see in my mind that best describes this is a person sitting, legs crossed, in deep meditation, as he/she listens to Satan's voice. This person goes before their altar not once a month, not once a week, but every day—often a few times a day. They wait in expectation, hoping to learn the lessons that Satan will bestow.

These lessons won't be easy. As I have said before, Satan isn't about easy.

Their mind is open, ready. The atmosphere changes as they invoke Him, and they feel His energy as it runs through their veins. With each new breath, they go deeper into the darkness, never to look back. Their connection to Satan is strengthened, and the Black Flame that He instilled in them burns fiercely.

As they rise from their position at the altar, they are not the same. They have been touched by Satan's essence and are transformed. They feel the difference, and therefore they move beyond what they once were.

They spend time in solitude—alone with Him. Coming out of the mundane and into the spiritual often. As a devotee, they don't just read about Satan or listen to music about Him. They practice what they believe, it is their life. They see His signs as they go about their day and are always attuned to His voice.

As Satan hands them His chalice, they drink His elixir.

It is done.

Focus on Satan

Satanist, no matter what might be going on around you, focus on Satan. There is a lot of crazy things going on in the world, and people can be so unpredictable that sometimes you don't know if they are coming or going.

While people are killing in the name of their god, whether it is called Allah, Jehovah, or whatever name they choose to use, know that Satan is most powerful of all. Feel the excitement rise within, as you contemplate everything that He is- the Primordial One, the Great Dragon, the Ancient Serpent.

As people fight over politics, allow Satan to guide you to all knowledge. Study the texts He places before you and become the best that you can be. Practice your magick.

Stand tall. Don't let anything or anyone deter you from your path. There is always going to be something that will try to knock you off, but be strong, kick it to the curb, and keep walking. Difficulties are inevitable but you can overcome them. Believe in yourself. Believe in Satan.

Every day, spend some time with Satan. This could be through meditation, prayer, pathworking, a ritual... Do what you feel is needed, but make this an important part of your day. Listen to what He might be saying to you through dreams, signs, and manifestations. He might not speak the way you expect Him to. Most of all, when you feel Satan transforming you, get ready for something big to happen.

He has called you, dear Satanist. That is the greatest gift anyone could ever be given.

Living Your True Will

Posted on June 5, 2016 at 12:45 AM Comments comments (4)

Life is short.

This fact becomes more real as you grow older. During the teenage years, you feel as if you will live forever. Your mortality is not something you think about, nor want to think about. Death is for the elderly- for grandparents and old movie stars. It's not for you—or so you want to believe.

But as the years go by, your muscles begin to ache and your skin starts to wrinkle. It becomes a reality that you are not going to live forever.

So while you still have the time, ask yourself, what is my purpose? What do I want to make of my life? If you are still young, then you're lucky. If you are older and have not yet figured it out, then get to it.

There is a verse in The Book of the Lord Satan that tells us how important it is to Satan that we know our True Will and exercise it. It states:

“Cursed be those who possess no will, no desire, they are a waste of useful energy.”

As a Satanist, you are not to live your life aimlessly. You only have a number of years to make a difference. You don't want to be old and look back on your life and believe that you have wasted it. What a horrible feeling that would be. So...

Whatever your Will is—do it.

Make your life a masterpiece. Let it count for something. If you don't have the knowledge or the skills to accomplish your desires, then obtain them. You are capable of so much more than you have believed about yourself. Yes, life is a struggle and bad things happen, but you can overcome.

One of the most powerful statements about the Will is found in The Book of the Law, written by Aleister Crowley. It reads as follows:

“Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.”

This verse is often used by people to excuse their destructive and useless behaviour. They believe that it gives them permission to do all the inconsequential things they want, which sadly ends up leading to stagnation and waste.

What the statement truly means, is to know your True Will and become it. To bring it forth into the world and live it. You choose to be who you are, and there is no one else in the world, whether it be in the past, the present, or future, that can accomplish what you are meant to accomplish. No one can live your Will, nor determine it for you.

Wherever you are right now, this is possible for you. Believe in yourself and you can do anything. It is never too late.

You are your own Prime Mover.

"I Want to Sell My Soul to Satan"

Posted on May 31, 2016 at 1:10 AM Comments comments (3)

This is for those who believe that Satanism can make you rich and famous. That by joining Satanism or the 'Illuminati,' you will have all the money, fame, or material wealth that you want.

It doesn't work that way.

Satanism is not something you 'join.' It is about having reverence for Satan and establishing a connection with him.

“But I want to sell my soul to Satan,” you say, believing that in return Satan will give you everything you desire.

My response to you is this—Satan doesn't want your soul.

It is a common misconception, passed down through the years by Christians and classical literature. Popular culture has also perpetuated this belief. Yet the truth is, Satan has encouraged humanity to develop themselves and become the best they can be. He wants us to strengthen our soul in knowledge and power.

Your soul is your essence, why would you want to give it away?

If you want to become a Satanist, it has to be for the right reasons. You must revere Satan in some way and want to learn from him. It is not about getting something back.

And if you want to become rich and famous, there are other ways to do it...

It is with anticipation that I begin...

I have wanted to put a blog on this site for some time, so to have a place to write informally about subjects that matter to me, and that which I hope will also interest my readers.

It is here that I will write commentaries, thoughts, experiences, reviews, informal essays, and to vent if need be. Topics will range from spiritual practices, Demonic communication, magick, sacred texts, and Satanism in the news and media. If something inspires me, I will share it.

My desire is to encourage those on the Satanic path. It is not an easy path to walk and often we walk it alone. While there are many groups on social media for general discussions, this blog will go a step further. Not only will we discuss the many great things about being a Satanist, we will discuss the hard issues that we face as well. Spiritual struggles and social issues will be brought into the open so that we can face them head on and be a support to one another.

No matter what the topic, Satan will be the focus... always.

I will not be able to post every day, as I have a lot of projects that I am working on, but I will try to write something at least once a week.

While the majority of posts will be available to everyone, there will be certain posts for members only. In order to comment, you must be a member.

Satan is honoured here. Let us study and learn together.

 Satanic Blessings,

 Marie RavenSoul
